Hosting · Dedicated

We run it — isolated for you alone.

A managed, single-tenant instance operated for your school by us, in a data region you choose. The isolation of a private deployment — optionally on a Canadian, non-US host — without the burden of running the infrastructure.

Architecture

Your own instance, managed by us.

We provision a dedicated application and database for your school — not shared with any other tenant — in the region you select. We handle TLS, updates, monitoring, and backups; you handle teaching.

Dedicated topology: a single-tenant application and database provisioned for your school alone, operated by us in your chosen region. Audio is synthesised on each device, as in every tier.

Why dedicated

Isolation and choice of region, operated for you.

True single-tenancy

Your own application and database, not shared with any other organisation. Stronger isolation than logical multi-tenancy.

Choose your region

Host the instance where your policy requires — including a Canadian, non-US provider for the strongest hosted sovereignty.

Fully managed

Provisioning, updates, monitoring, and backups are ours. You get a private deployment without running servers.

Quick to stand up

Days, not weeks. We provision and hand you a ready instance with your subdomain and staff accounts configured.

Coordinated maintenance

Updates and maintenance windows are scheduled with you, so changes never land in the middle of a lesson.

A clear exit path

Same application as self-hosted, so you can migrate onto your own infrastructure later if your needs change.

Data & compliance

Hosted, but still minimised.

  • Single-tenant isolation — your data shares no instance with anyone
  • Region of your choice, including non-US hosting
  • Student join needs only a code and display name — no email
  • Retention limits and deletion-on-request built into the schema
  • No telemetry by default; no profiling, ads, or model training on student work
  • We operate backups and recovery to an agreed plan

Sovereignty without the ops

For schools that cannot self-host but still need data out of US jurisdiction, a dedicated instance on a Canadian provider is the pragmatic middle path.

Built to clear the privacy bar

Data minimisation is the default, not an add-on — the same stance described on the main privacy section, applied to a deployment that is yours alone.

FAQ

Questions about dedicated.

How is "dedicated" different from "cloud"?

A dedicated deployment is a single-tenant instance that runs for your school alone — its own application and its own database, not shared with any other organisation. Cloud is a shared multi-tenant service with logical per-tenant isolation. Dedicated trades a little setup time for stronger isolation and a data region of your choosing.

Where does the data live?

In a region you choose. For schools that need to avoid US jurisdiction, we can host the instance on a Canadian, non-US provider — the strongest hosted answer to sovereignty short of self-hosting.

Do we have to run or maintain anything?

No. We operate the instance: provisioning, updates, monitoring, and backups are ours, coordinated with you for maintenance windows. You get the isolation of a private deployment without running infrastructure.

Can we migrate to self-hosted later?

Yes. Because it is the same application, a dedicated instance can be exported and re-deployed on your own infrastructure if your requirements change. Your classes and patches move with you.
